A countdown of 100 images for the 100 days leading up to the 100th Year of Finland's independence

It was while I was walking around the new building work going on round the old dock area at Kalasatama that I noticed this pastel coloured building. It makes sense that if you want to encourage families to move into a new area, then you have to provide the services they need. Designing and opening a large, new daycare with plenty of outdoor play area seems like the perfect way to convince them that the future of their children will be in good hands here. With the added security of CCTV cameras, of course.
