Finland 100: 75 – A Path through Grass
Sony A7RII : f/6.3@200th : ISO 640 : EV +0.3 : FE 55mm f/1.8
A countdown of 100 images for the 100 days leading up to the 100th Year of Finland's independence
Exactly like what it says in the title, this is a path through the grass, on a not so early morning walk (because the sun wouldn’t be up yet) and a layer of frost over everything. This particular path is a cut-through made by people like myself and is to be found in Helsinki’s own Central Park, which runs from Töölönlahti Bay in the centre of town for about 10km to the north on the outskirts of the city at Haltiala. When the snow arrives for the winter, I can literally walk out my front door and be cross-country skiing in the forest within 10 minutes. Just another one of the reasons to enjoy living here. Still waiting for the snow though!
