A countdown of 100 images for the 100 days leading up to the 100th Year of Finland's independence

The lights are on but there’s nobody in! The parliament building has been under renovation for months now, not sure for how much longer the work will be going on but, in the meantime, I’ll just enjoy the interesting new view. The lights under the scaffolding’s covers have been catching my eye each time I walk passed and, finally, tonight I was carrying a tripod with me. I could have done without the rain but, hey. I’m not sure why this tree always has a red light on it, possibly because it’s next door to a jazz club. I love the effect of the ‘lava’ on the granite rocks caused by the long exposure and the red light dancing through the tree. New rule, when the days are grey, head out into the night for a little bit of colour!
