PotD: Landscape Art in a Landscape

Sony A7RII : f/13@320th : ISO 100 : EV -1.0 : FE 55mm f/1.8

I think I took this ‘Landscape Art within a Landscape’ the morning of our second day. Driving out of the small community where we had spent the night, the last building had this mural that jumped out at you from the surroundings. It was a beautifully clear morning high up on the altiplano and the colours just popped. Our driver, Hugo, as always, was good enough to stop for the PITA photographer, even though we’d only been on the road for 30 seconds. It was to become a recurring theme throughout the trip and I can’t thank him enough for his patience and understanding. I don’t know what I would have done without his willingness to pull over for yet another photo opportunity. The scenery changes so much as you go through the various different altitudes and I have never encountered anything like it. If you ever get the chance, do this trip!
