Finland 100: 96 – Misty Morning in Winter

A countdown of 100 images for the 100 days leading up to the 100th Year of Finland's independence

A celebration of the lack of colour that can abound in wintertime on a misty morning. A few minutes earlier the skies were blue and the sun was adding some nice contrast and sparkle to the frozen dew. Then the mist came rolling in and all the colour disappeared. This is not a complaint. I love how the scenery and light can change so quickly. And the more open the countryside, the more you can see the changes approaching. A furrowed field has rarely looked so appealing to me.
