Finland 100: 66 – Countdown to Slush

Described as Europe’s leading startup event, Slush is the place for tech startups, investors and media from around the world to get together, share ideas, forge new partnerships, and party! As the photo shows, there’s only two days to go before the kick-off for the official three day event but you only have to look at the listings to see that the ball’s already in play. No time to rest, the time for networking is now! And I can’t remember the last time I’ve come across so much marketing for an event, which is great to see. This image was taken at the Central Station’s Metro, right above the entranceway to the platforms and looked just like a Departure’s board, before fading away to another company’s more typical, less memorable ad campaign. So, good luck to all the startups out there. Hope you make it BIG-time!
