Finland 100: 38 – Sapling with Winter Coat

It wasn’t so much that the sapling had a jacket on that caught my attention, as that’s not particularly unusual for young trees to be protected in this harsh environment, it was more the RGB colours. I’m not sure when I started getting a kick out of stumbling across red, green and blue scenarios but I think this is my third RGB post. I must be spending too much time retouching and playing around with curves. Talking about curves, not a lot of them in this photo, just lots of straight lines. It was starting to rain heavily and, even though it was mid-morning, it would be unfair to call the light daylight, more of a murky grey. Nice to have a bit of colour to feast the eyes on.
