Finland 100: 50 – A Clematis in Winter

A countdown of 100 images for the 100 days leading up to the 100th Year of Finland's independence

Another shot from my recent walk through the Kaisaniemi Botanical gardens, this time of a clematis that may have gone passed its bloom-by date but has still managed to create an interesting graphic shape with the netting and the metal pipes. I didn’t pop inside the greenhouses this time, mainly because I didn’t want to put my camera gear through the necessary procedure when going from the dry winter cold outside and the humid heat inside. But I have been inside before to shoot a fashion story and would recommend it to anyone to check the place out.
