Now, I know that I’m not writing a Fashion blog but, sometimes, you just gotta go with the flow. I was doing my usual aimless wandering around with a camera routine in Buenos Aires when I came across this boutique tucked away off a main street. Nothing planned, and accidental discoveries are allowed and just one of those lucky things that can happen when you’ve been walking kilometre after kilometre. At first it was the little fish tank that caught my eye, then I was drawn in by the fantastic colours of the shirts. The label is Flor de Camisa, that is all I know. I was good and didn’t buy a shirt there and then, as I don’t have any extra space on my travels. I do know that I’ll be fitting one or two in my bag when I get back to Buenos Aires at the end of my trip. I may have to lose one or two other items along the way to make space….
The last three images were in the same area, where there’s a collection of similar boutique stores. Mushrooms with legs and 3D graffiti, what’s not to like!
Update: 19/02/16 I did end up going back after my travels and picking up a couple of shirts from here. Also bought an awesome lamp from a shop next door that specialises in recycled art & design. Pain in the ass to get the lamp back but it looks great on my windowsill and reminds me of what has been. The collection of boutiques is in a spot called Galeria Patio del Liceo and well worth checking out. The 3D artwork of the boy’s head is where the outdoor bar is and where they serve good craft beer. Enjoy!
